Many survivors leave with little or no access to money, personal belongings, or support systems because abusers frequently control finances and isolate their victims. Financial assistance and community resources provide a critical lifeline, helping families secure safety, regain independence, and begin the process of healing and rebuilding their lives free from violence and fear.
